Entry fee: City Palace Jaipur ticket price is different for Indians as well as Foreigners. For an Indian adult the ticket price for the museum is Rs. 200, for a composite visit the fee is Rs. 300. However, the museum visit at night is Rs. 500. There is also a special Royal Grandeur visit that costs Rs. 1500 and Royal Splendor visit costs Rs. 3000. For an Indian child from 5 to 12 years of age the ticket price for the museum is Rs. 100 and for nighttime museum visit it is Rs. 250. And for a composite visit the price is Rs. 200. Furthermore the Royal Grandeur visit for a child is Rs. 1000 and for Royal Splendor it is RS. 1500.

There are separate prices for Senior Citizens and Defense Personnel as well and it is Rs. 100 for museum visits and Rs. 380 for museum visits at night. The composite visit is Rs. 200. And the Royal Grandeur is priced for Rs. 1000 and Royal Splendor is for Rs. 1500.
For an adult foreigner the composite fee is Rs. 700, museum visit at night is Rs. 1000. The Royal Grandeur visit is Rs. 2000 and Royal Splendor is Rs. 3500. How to reach
By air
If you are travelling by air then the nearest airport to reach the City Palace is the Jaipur International Airport. From the airport the Jaipur palace is located 12.7 km away. It would approximately take you around 32 minutes. You can easily take an auto rickshaw from the airport to travel to the palace. Or else you can also take a car or hire a cab as well to reach the palace from the Jaipur airport.
By train
If you are travelling by train then the nearest railway station to reach the palace is the Jaipur Junction. From the Jaipur railway station the location of the Jaipur City Palace is about 3.9 km away. It would approximately take you only about 14 minutes to reach the location from the railway station. Auto rickshaws or rickshaws would be a good option to travel from the railway station to reach the palace. By road

The last king to hold his rule from the dynasty was Raja Man Singh II who enjoyed his throne at this palace. Architecture of City Palace
Maharaja Jai Singh II started the construction of this palace with the outer wall and that was basically the original structure. However, in the next few decades a lot of buildings, courtyards and structures were added in the palace. A beautiful blend of Rajput, Mughal and European style of architecture is visible in the construction of the palace. The palace further looks splendid as it is built in pink and red sandstone. Gates of City Palace
There are three gates of the City Palace namely the Tripolia Gate, Udai Pol and Virendra Pol. The main palace again has 4 smaller gates in the courtyard of Pritam Niwas Chowk. From there the way leads to the Chandra Mahal. According to beliefs these gates represent the four seasons and four Hindu deities as well namely Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, Lord Ganesha and Devi Parvati. There is a Mor Gate here and Mor literally translates to peacock. So this gate represents the autumn season. You will find intricate 3D patterns of peacocks on this gate as well. Then there is the Lotus Gate that represents the summer season. Next is the Lehriya Gate that represents the spring season. Leheriya is actually a kind of print that women in Rajasthan wear during the spring season. And the last gate is the Rose Gate that represents the winter season.

Mubarak Mahal
As the name suggests the name literally translates to Welcome Palace. Maharaja Madho Singh II used this palace to welcome his guests. Currently this palace is the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Museum and here you will get to see an extensive collection of textiles and outfits.
Chandra Mahal
The Chandra Mahal is also another grand palace here with seven floors. Each of these floors however has different names like Sukh Niwas, Ranga Mandir, Mukut Mahal, Pitam Niwas, Shri Niwas, Chhavi Niwas.
Armoury
The Anand Mahal Sileh Khana is the armoury here and it houses a vast collection of weapons. Some of the weapons that you would find here even belong to the 15th century as well.
