TimingsAlbert Hall Museum timings are from 9 am to 5 pm on all days of the week. And for night visits the timings are from 7 am to 10 pm on all days.

From October to March the last Tuesday of each month is for maintenance and from April to September the last Monday of each month is for maintenance.

Entry fee: The Albert Hall Museum ticket price for a general entry is Rs. 40 per person for Indians and Rs. 20 per person for Indian students. For a foreign tourist the Albert Hall Museum entry fee is Rs. 300 per person and Rs. 150 per person for a foreign student.

However there is a composite entry ticket for Albert Hall as well and it is Rs. 300 per person for Indians and Rs. 40 per person for Indian students. For foreigners it is Rs. 1000 per person and Rs. 200 per person for a foreign student.

The composite ticket has a validity of 2 days and you can visit one or multiple sites on that ticket. These sites are Albert Hall, Hawa Mahal, Amber Fort, Jantar Mantar, Nahargarh Fort, Sisodia Rani Garden, Vidyadhar Garden and Isarlat. You can buy the composite tickets only from the premises of Albert Hall, Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar.

There is a separate ticket for Albert Hall during the night as well. For a night entry the ticket price is Rs. 100 per person for Indians, Indian students, foreigners and foreign students. There is a free entry at Albert Hall for children below 7 years of age. Also for a group of students entry is free here from 10 am to 12 pm every day.

On days like Rajasthan Day on 30th March, World Heritage Day on 18th April, World Museum Day on 18th May and World Tourism Day on 27th September entry of all visitors is free.

By air

If you are travelling by air then the nearest airport to reach the museum is the Jaipur International Airport. From the Jaipur airport the location of this museum is located at a distance of 10.4 km. History of Albert Hall Museum

The foundation of Albert Hall dates back to the time when Prince of Wales Albert Edward visited Jaipur in 1876. However there was no surety on how the building will be used though. Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh II suggested the building of a temporary museum in 1880. So therefore in 1881 they built a temporary museum here and displayed some products and arts of local craftsmen. Architect of Jaipur PWD, Samuel Swinton Jacob completed Albert Hall in 1887. The Albert Hall soon became a centre for imparting knowledge of the history of civilization.
